Parent Education Class

Dr. Gueldner is currently teaching a parent education class called Your Child’s Emotional World: Build Connections and Teach Skills to Last a Lifetime. This class is built on research that supports parents as excellent models and teachers for children’s emotional development, and uses evidence-based information and strategies from the areas of Social and Emotional Learning, Emotion Coaching, and positive behavior management. Training, Consulting, and Speaking Engagements

Dr. Gueldner has extensive experience presenting to large and small groups and conducting trainings for a variety of audiences such as pre-K to Grade 12 educators, mental health professionals, non-profit agencies who work with children, healthcare professionals, parents, medical and graduate students, and other community groups. The content of her trainings draws from research, evidence-based practices, and her experiences in a variety of settings.
